A Rainy Spring Wedding at The Connors Center

On a serendipitous day, K+C met while waiting for the T together - they got chatting and as the bus rolled up, K realized she didn’t have her Charlie Card and C paid for her ride (what a gentleman, am I right?!) and the rest is history! That bus ride began the ride of a lifetime together as they created a beautiful and adventurous life together and then decided to get married! Their wedding day was romantic, sweet and overflowing with love from their community and loved ones.

They chose to get married at their local church where it is so apparent how beloved they are by all the members. After Mass has ended, they walked down the aisle slowly waving and saying hello to the community who sat in the pews. It was an incredibly moving moment to see them share the love and joy of that moment with everyone there and is something that I’ll remember for many years to come. As we stepped outside of the church, there was a break from the rain as they mingled with the guests before heading back to the Connors Center for their tent reception.

The evening was full of laughter, romance and just SO MUCH JOY. I honestly couldn’t wipe a smile off my face the entire day and I believe that truly speaks to K+C and the energy and sense of peace that they bring to any room they are in. So, with that, cheers to K+C! May your life be full of adventures, quiet walks together and many evenings kayaking as the sunsets.
